In the third quarter of 2024, the hypercasual gaming market on Android in Europe showcased some interesting trends. According to data from Sensor Tower, the top five games demonstrated varied performance in weekly downloads, revenue, and active user engagement.

SCHOOLBOY RUNAWAY - STEALTH, developed by Linked Squad, started strong with over 1.1M weekly downloads in early July, gradually declining to around 246K by the end of September. Its active user base mirrored this trend, beginning at 3.4M and closing the quarter at approximately 1.7M.

My Supermarket Simulator 3D from Game District LLC experienced a significant rise in both downloads and revenue. Weekly downloads peaked at over 1M by the end of September, while revenue saw a steady increase, reaching about $25K in the final week of the quarter. The active user count also rose, peaking at approximately 1.8M.

Block Blast!, published by Hungry Studio, maintained a consistent download rate, fluctuating between 493K and 627K throughout the quarter. Active users remained stable, closing the quarter at around 2.8M.

Manage Supermarket Simulator by Zego Global Pte showed a declining trend in downloads and revenue. Weekly downloads fell from 949K to about 31K, while revenue decreased from $11K to $1.6K. Active users also dropped, ending the quarter at about 1.3M.

Finally, Screw Out: Jam Puzzle, also from Zego Global Pte, saw an ascent in revenue, peaking at $143K before tapering off to $88K by the end of September. Downloads and active users followed a similar pattern, with initial growth followed by a gradual decline.
